So, you find a diamond in the rough,

You cut it out of the stone,

you mould it what you want it to be,

you polish it, make sure it never tarnishes

then you say you love it, what a find, my own diamond,

then one day things get hard it life,

you lose the sparkle in your eye,

you consider selling your diamond,

all that time, all that fuss,

only for you to sell this diamond,

and place it in the hands of another,

anyone who will buy it from you,

perk yourself up, you think,

I wil find another one another day,

but diamonds are rare and precious

you don't realise what you're giving away

For christs sake, take the diamond,

keep it locked up safe away and protected,

this diamond doesn't want to go,

this diamond loves you.
